Endermologie was developed by Louis Paul Guitay (LPG) in the early 1980’s. Guitay had suffered a serious auto accident and was prescribed therapeutic massage for the treatment of burns, to prevent skin contraction, and to loosen scar tissue. He found a big difference in effectiveness depending on his therapist inspiring him to create a machine that would provide a uniform result. After being used therapeutically on patients, endermologie proved to have the side effect of eliminating the appearance of cellulite.

The Treatment
Body endermologie is in effect a powerful, mechanized lymphatic massage. It employs suction and rollers that mimic ancient cupping and skin rolling techniques. It feels like a massage and is deeply relaxing.
Series packages include nutritional counseling, ear acupressure, and herbal recommendations.

Results
Because of the improved circulation and lymphatic flow, patients typically feel relaxed and revitalized with an increased desire to drink water. Pain relief and detox results are felt immediately. Cosmetic results often require 6-10 treatments to notice a visible difference, and a series of 10-20 to reach the desired result.

Face Endermologie
Facial Endermologie is a relaxing, non-abrasive treatment. It is safe for all skin types.
Facial Endermologie reinvents and perfects "le pinch de Jaquet." Dr Jacquet, a Dermatologist, introduced a facial massage technique in 1907, which includes a gentle manual squeezing, twisting, and kneading of the skin. This technique is known as the "le pinch de Jacquet." This technique helped combat what Dr Jacquet labelled as ‘cutaneous hypotonia’ or ‘skin fatigue’ as well as treating oily and acne-blemished skin.
Dr Jacquet explained the effects as ‘a marked increase in circulation and temperature, giving a sensation of warmth and tingling’ making it both a relaxing and therapeutic treatment.

Facial Endermologie Process
Phase 1 : Decongest
The slowest intensity (4Hz) has been specifically designed to address puffiness and congestion by providing superior lymph drainage. Excellent for mild to moderate acne, blotchy skin tone, enlarged pores, as well as sinus congestion.
Phase 2 : Densify
The rapid intensity stimulates fibroblast cells to naturally reactivate collagen and elastin production. Signs of aging appear as the skin slows new cell production and turnover leading to thinner skin. Increasing fibroblast activity thickens the skin back to its youthful state. This helps repair mature, slackening skin.
Phase 3 : Smooth
The medium intensity smoothes and softens lines, wrinkled skin and revitalizes a dull complexion.
Phase 4 : Sculpt
The Roll Treatment Head relaxes facial muscles (responsible for wrinkle and line formation), as it resculpts fatty or sagging facial contours (double chin, cheeks, etc.)

Results
There will be a visible change in skin texture and appearance after 1 treatment. For anti-aging benefits, a series of 14, biweekly treatments is suggested for ideal, lasting results. For acne treatment, weekly or monthly treatments are recommended depending on the severity.
