Every product used in our facility is organic, and uses only natural preservatives. Jurlique, Cosmedix, and Hylunia skincare as well as custom formulated herbs are used for our facials and take home care.

Cinnabar Signature Acupressure Facial

Ancient Chinese pressure-point treatment and lymphatic drainage to work the face, neck, and shoulders. This facial increase circulation, relieves tension, detoxifies, firms and hydrates the skin. Includes extractions, if necessary. Customized based on skin condition, gender, age, and personal preference. We can address any concern, including sensitive skin and rosacea. Jurlique organic skincare, Cosmedix chirally correct products, and/or Hylunia sensitive skincare products are used.

Organic Microdermabrasion Using Baking Soda

This is the most effective way to exfoliate the skin. It has been proven to increase the production of collagen and elastin. It is safe for all skin types and tones. Beneficial for sun damaged skin, some forms of acne, rough skin, enlarged pores, and oily skin. Our machine is the only one created to run on sodium bicarbonate crystals (baking soda). This minimizes irritation and is safe for use close to the lips and eyes (unlike machines using aluminum oxide crystals).

Custom Herbal Peel

(By Recommendation of Esthetician) A stand alone treatment. In keeping with the philosophy at Cinnabar Acupuncture, these peels focus on stimulating the skin to heal itself rather than causing damage and inflamation. Includes face, neck, and décolleté.

Removes redness and calms irritation after microdermabrasion or facials. Customized protocols for acne, hyperpigmentation, redness, sagging skin and wrinkles. Blue light at 470 nm,
improves acne prone skin. It penetrates into the superficial dermis and has a calming and regulating effect on the sebaceous gland.
Green light at 525 nm,
decreases melanin production, reduces pigmentation and eliminates the redness associated with the use of chemical peel and bleaching products.
Yellow light at 590 nm,
used for its healing, draining and detoxifying properties. It is absorbed by the body fluids in the lymph & blood circulatory systems and promotes wound healing. It increases lymphatic flow to evacuate more waste products and boosts cellular activity.
Red light at 640 nm,
increases collagen production by 5 fold in the skin, triggering repair mechanisms and stimulating fibroblast cells and cell growth. It increases circulation and speeds up the healing process by carrying more oxygen and nutrients to the skin. Red spectrum light is absorbed by all skin layers especially the dermis.

Lumi-Lift Facial

Evens skin tone, firms and tones the skin. Uses red light combined with micronized currents and HF polarized currents. 3-Phase treatment including lymph drainage, lifting and rejuvenation, and infusion of anti-free-radical ingredients.

Sugaring

Sugaring is a gentler, more skin friendly form of depilation. Sugar wax is made of sugar, honey, and lemon juice.
