Cinnabar Signature Massage
Customized circulatory massage utilizing Chinese, Japanese, and Thai massage techniques. Warm moist towels and heated stones enhance your experience. This is a lighter massage for those desiring relaxation.

Zen Shiatsu Massage
Deeply relaxing. Perfect for those who just can’t let go. Similar to Thai massage, but shares the acupuncture meridian system and is more gentle and meditative. Thai Compress Massage Scrub
Thermal therapy combined with traditional Thai herbs, heated stones, and an invigorating scrub. First the skin is exfoliated. Then hot compresses are alternately stamped along the body, expelling toxins, deeply relaxing, releasing muscle tension and leaving skin vibrant. Finally, emolliant oils are massaged into the body with hot stones.

Reflexology

Ear Coning
A cone made out of cotton fabric, beeswax, and herbs is lit and placed in the ear creating a vacuum. This pulls excess wax from the ear canal. Includes lymphatic drainage massage. Beneficial for chronic sinus congestion, hearing problems, vertigo, and allergies, as well as a health treatment.

Hugo Anguiano, a nationally certified practitioner and instructor of Holistic Health since 1993, teaches and practices a variety of Eastern, Western and European holistic therapeutic techniques. He uses Oriental Health Assessment and Body Reading techniques to determine how or if he can be of help. Hugo then incorporates bodywork, massage, therapeutic exercises ( Chi Gung, Yoga, Educational Kinesiology-Brain Gym), breathing therapy, NLP and food therapy to enhance your body’s ability to adapt to stress and to heal. He can also help if you are suffering from Fibromyalgia Syndrome, Breathing Dysfunctions, and Digestive health issues.
Hugo's experience has shown him that massage and bodywork do not have to be painful and that they are more effective when they are comfortable and pleasant to receive.
Parasympathetic Massage: Uses oil. Deeply soothing, relaxing and painless, uses slow, flowing strokes to induce the alpha state where the body’s own healing powers are most accessible. Activates the Parasympathetic nervous system allowing the body to rejuvenate and restore its balance, while it assists the lymphatic system to cleanse the metabolic waste that accumulates in the muscle tissues. Also helps relieve stress and pain.
Zen-Touch Shiatsu: Fully clothed, gentle and non-invasive. May include an Oriental Health Assessment. Creates a regenerating effect by balancing the body’s life-force energy. Applies pressure while stretching limbs in a gradual, nurturing fashion, which enhances energy flow. Helps relieve stress and pain, and encourages freedom of movement.
Circulatory massage: Uses oil, gentle and non-invasive. Affects the quality and quantity of blood through the circulatory system, favoring better cellular nutrition and elimination, lessens the work of the heart, improves the blood making process and flushes the lymphatic system. Helps relieve stress and pain.
Trigger Point Therapy: May use oil, gentle and non-invasive. Addresses specific concerns painlessly such as headaches, back pain, TMJ syndrome, neck pain, frequent urination, painful scars, etc.
Positional Release Techniques: Fully clothed, gentle and non-invasive manual treatments for muscle pain and spasms. Can create instant results. Addresses specific concerns painlessly such as headaches, back pain, neck pain, Trigger Points, etc.
Advanced Soft Tissue Techniques: May use oil, gentle and non-invasive. A combination of Evidence-Based manual treatment methods utilized to address painful conditions such as headaches, back pain, TMJ syndrome, neck pain, sprains, Trigger Points, Tender Points, Breathing Dysfunctions, Fibromyalgia, etc.
Russian Sports Massage: Uses oil. Painless. Designed specifically to enhance sports performance and rehabilitation by preventing injuries.
South Indian Ayurvedic Massage: Seven sessions are considered one full treatment. Uses long, flowing strokes with lots of oil. Addresses specific health issues and is tailored to your Ayurvedic constitution, which also determines the speed and length of the session, and type of oil. Originally designed to train and condition warriors, helps relieve stress and pain, and encourages freedom of movement.
Passive Joint Mobilization: Fully clothed, gentle and non-invasive. Uses gentle rhythmical movements to disarm holding patterns, relieve stress, and encourage full, integrated action.
Kris Van Derck is a graduate of the Holistic Health Practitioner program at Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego. She has been studying holistic medicine for 9 years and is passionate about the health benefits of Asian Bodywork. She specializes in the therapeutic modalities of Tui Na and Thai massage. In addition to providing stress relief, improved immune function and pain management
through massage therapy, her mission is to educate clients to the benefits of a holistic lifestyle so that they can achieve health and well-being.
Mark Brown is a Miami Florida native with much of his ancestral background from Trinidad. After graduating from high school Mark joined the US Navy moved to Perth, Australia for 2 years. He first became interested in Holistic Healing while making a visit in Hong Kong. There he visited monasteries which inspired him to learn massage.
Once he was out of the Navy he pursued a career as a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP.) He trained at the Academy of Professional Careers in San Marcos, Ca. Since 2003 he has been working in the massage field. With over 1,000 hours training Mark continues his education in massage, nutrition and business at Palomar College and then on to San Diego State University. Along with all of his current studies Mark has also worked at Fitness Quest 10 where he gained further knowledge in sports massage. Which gave him the opportunity to work with athletes such as the San Diego Chargers. He also worked with a psychologist performing massage techniques to assist people with schizophrenia, clinical depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. Mark has also worked for prestigious spas such as La Costa Spa Resort and now Rancho Bernardo Inn. His specialties include deep tissue, shiatsu, structural alignment integration, hot stone, body wraps, scrubs and, swedish with a touch of lomi-lomi for a very flowing, well-connected massage.
Mark's hobbies are to travel. He's visited Europe, Australia, Indonesia, China, Mexico, South America and many islands of the Caribbean. |
