Cosmedix Chirally Correct Peels
Cosmedix peels (and their products in general) are molecularly restructured to work chirally. "Chirally correct" means that Cosmedix has taken natural ingredients and refined them to remove substances that have no added therapeutic value and will only cause irritation. Thus the peel is able to penetrate deeper into the skin
layers and yet it reduces the pain and irritation usually associated with traditional peels. With the exception of the two deepest peels, you will leave our clinic with your skin looking beautiful. Peels are listed from weakest to strongest.
These peels work to stimulate the skin to heal itself, rather than simply wounding and destroying the skin. Cosmedix peels will actually thicken and strengthen the skin over time. A consultation with a thorough skin analysis is necessary before any peel. A series is often necessary for optimum results. All peels are more effective with a 2 week skin prep. Three of our peels require it.
Blueberry Smoothie
This is one of our gentlest peels. A combination scrub/peel. Contains L-lactic acid, blueberry extracts, and blue corn meal to gently exfoliate the skin. You will leave with radiant skin. No peeling or redness.

Pomegranate Peel
This is a light antioxidant peel that penetrates to the Stratum Corneum only. It is often used to boost another peel or microdermabrasion treatment. It increases moisture in the skin.

Timeless Peel
Our all around favorite. Jumpstarts the skin to start working again. Contains 30% L-Retinol A to generate immense activity in the skin to restore growth of healthy, young skin cells, increase cell turn over, remove layers of dead skin and increase skins moisture level. Peeling likely from days 2-5. Little or no redness.

Deep Sea Peel
Our deepest peel. It is non-acidic and contains sea herbs. Recommended for scarring or very deep wrinkles. This is the only one that causes discomfort during the peel process. Flaking likely from days 2-5 post peel. Redness and sensitivity generally lasts 24 hours.

Peel Prep Kit + Lightening Serum
The prep kit stimulates your skin to increase cell turnover and exfoliate. It contains Purity Clean (an exfoliating cleanser), Protect (a physical sunblock plus moisturizer), Refine 4% (4% retinol or Vit A), and Defy (an Alpha Hydroxy Acid exfoliater)
The Lightening Serum is necessary in most patients to calm melanocyte activity to safeguard against possible hyperpigmentation.
Post Kit
Designed to soothe and calm the skin post-peel. It contains Benefit Clean (a gentle antioxidant cleanser), Reflect (a physical sunblock), Rescue (a soothing balm), and Pure Enzymes (an enzyme exfoliating mask to be used a few days post-peel to relieve peeling process).
