“I've known Lia since I first went to her when she was in Los Angeles as part of her acupuncture training. She was a wonderful discovery for a first time acupuncture patient. I was very unsure what I was getting into with acupuncture and she really took the time to listen to my general health complaints/issues and work with me to find the course of treatment that worked the best. When I first started seeing her, I had issues with headaches and vertigo that western medicine had no real answers for (Despite many, many inconclusive tests), but it only took a few weeks to see a marked improvement. After a year of no progress with my western doctor, within a month or two I was able to quit going to western doctors and felt basically fine again. She really cares about her patients and will do whatever it takes to help improve your condition.
I try to get to Cinnabar to see her as much as I can, and definitely whenever I'm in the San Diego area I am sure to make an appointment. It's a gorgeous clinic with a beautiful design, and everyone there that I've dealt with really seems to care about the patient. I've only been for acupuncture due to time issues but hopefully can try some of the other services in the future. “ -Justin

"4S Ranch is so lucky to have such a luxurious and tranquil spa in their functional 4S commons area. The colors, the atmosphere and the service are all absolutely first rate. I brought my mother in and treated her to a facial that included a mini-massage and she fell asleep! It's not an exaggeration when I say that her skin glowed after her treatment. I now attend regular Cinnabar acupuncture sessions because Judith and Lia have coupled them with herbal treatments and I definitely feel a positive change in my overall health. Moms seem to know what's best and it's great to see moms taking their children in to either receive acupuncture or massage therapy. First of all, the place is beautiful. Such a positive atmosphere! They really put a lot into making their place feel inviting and relaxing. As soon as I walk in, I instantly feel out of the "rat race."
But it's the people that make Cinnabar such a valuable resource. They really take their time to make you feel welcome and cared for. You can tell Lia and her mom really want to help you. And they do! They are such good people.
My favorite combo is to get acupuncture, followed by a hot stone massage. After I'm done my whole outlook on life is different. I even drive down the road differently.
I want to try the Thai massage, and I've even been thinking of getting a mild facial.
